With the dents to prove it, the rustic beauty of this table results from hand-hammered copper, antique finished and then framed in dark-stained matte-finished hardwoods. Centuries ago, in the Middle East, it was discovered that copper could be heated and molded to a large variety of shapes. Hammering proved to be a way to harden the copper after shaping more effectively.

This table comes complete with a pull-out drawer and a lower shelf formed of closely-spaced wrought iron bars for handy storage. Makes a wonderful bedside table.
