Make yourself proud as a peacock with the vibrant hues of this table lamp that pays homage to the most brightly colored bird on earth. Hand crafted in the tradition of Louis Comfort Tiffany, this is art glass at its best -- and most brilliant.

Rich, intense blues, purples, and acquas have been blended using the famous "favrile" technique (combining colors while glass is hot) then enhanced with rich golds and blush pinks. The handcut pieces are connected with copper foil. Amidst the panes you'll find bobbles of rich, vibrant blue that mimic the "eyes" of the peacock feathers. The shade is edged, for further artistic effect, with beadwork on the bottom. The lit-from-within base features columns of more stained glass alternating with metal pillars cast in a feather pattern. The foot is also feathered and embedded with more peacock "eyes."

Lamp is operated with two weighted chain pulls. Overall, the effect of this piece is wonderous -- the result of meticulous attention to every design detail and many, many hours of hand crafting.
