This stand reminds me of one that my grandmother placed in a corner of her very properly Victorian home. Like her, you may want to place a small painted ceramic figurine (hers was a nymph playing with fish) or a urn of flowers. This pretty stand features Roman Carpathian detailing hand carved in the first "tier." Below are two more "tiers" each with a contrasting inlaid door of natural-colored wood. Each is meticulously hand-painted with a design of lilies and other flowers in whites, taupes, brown and black. Doors open to shelves providing very handy storage of small objects. (My grandmother used hers to store wrapping paper, stationary, and cards.) At the bottom of each pillared section you'll find delicately scrolled feet.

The whole piece is finished a deep, rich mohagany brown in keeping with true Victorian style. Measures 15" diameter and 42 1/4" high.
